the weekend was quite lovely.

slices of pizza at late night slice on high street

too many hours in the sun with too little spf.

hot dogs, patios, and warm summer nights.

bon vie brunch

after a fun friday night at char bar in downtown columbus, brunch was definitely in order.

we headed out to easton to bon vie.

bloody marys, bread with too much butter, new rules of zero discretion, omelets

and the best company in town.

(minus kayla who was home taking diddy to the vet)

big plans of apples to apples tonight.

south drive in flea market

i love flea markets.

sunday morning em, kayla and i ventured way down high street and went to the south drive in flea market. i ended up buying 4 things, all a dollar each. gotta to love that.

northstar morning.

the best part of columbus is saturday morning.

northstar with friends after a friday night out.

lots of coffee, ham and cheese scones, cobb salads.

and perfect opportunities to play with my cameras.

now i will be spending the rest of the day horizontal.

a day.

a couple favorite things about saturday mornings in columbus:

waking up early cleaning my bathroom listening to the gossip station on pandora.

meeting em for a mid morning walk with coffees in tote.

splitting grilled cheese and tomato soup on the patio at mojoe lounge.

this particular saturday we fell into some tickets for the columbus crew's home opener. i love sporting events. i think its the energy that is vibing through the stadium, the overpriced beer or the soft pretzels with cheese, or it may just be the fact that i was with my closest friends.

it seems a little ridiculous that every saturday is the perfect saturday, but i don't care.

first day of spring

kayla, emily and i spent a gorgeous spring morning walking high street stopping and getting coffees from impero and cinnamon buns and cupcakes from gingham bakery.

i just have this amazing feeling of happiness.

we are off to cincinnati for the rest of the weekend. stopping at ikea and gabriel brothers then heading across the river for my friend hannah k's going away party.
