my lovely birthday

i turned 23 yesterday and had the most lovely birthday. i have so many wonderful people in my life and for that i am really grateful.

easter.

i have many things to be happy about this easter.

the fact that i got to spend a long weekend with my family

the fact that i got to spend time with all the friends i left in ne ohio.

warm weather.

sunshine.

the feast my mom is preparing for dinner.

the fact that i finally just bought the canon rebel xs digital SLR.

the basil seeds/potter my parents got me for easter.

home.

kayla and i took friday off work to come home/akron area for a long holiday weekend.

we danced are butts of at Thursday's on thursday night. Thursday's on thursday night plays the best music HANDS DOWN.

friday morning i had to take my car in the shop, but i woke up early enough to stop and get McDonalds breakfast. I took a moment and sat outside on the curb in the parking lot and enjoyed my egg mcmuffin, a hash brown and a coffee.

i spent the afternoon with my siblings at the aurora farms outlet mall. you can't tell, but my little brother was super excited to be shopping.

kayla.

it is crazy to me how everything is piecing together here in columbus. the fortune i feel when i think about how truly wonderful my life is down here, even through the thick and thin, is absolutly overwhelming. our senior year of college, i would have never fathomed kayla would be living in columbus with me and working at a+f.

i have never known a better friend. she is beautiful in every way possible, and i do not know what i would do without her.

10 things that make kayla terribly happy

1. discovering who someone really is & loving them for everything they are.

2. knowing every word to a song, blasting it in your car & singing at the top of your lungs =)

3. being inspired by the smallest things.

4. getting packages in the mail.

5. finding the perfect piece of clothing on the sale rack...and having it fit perfectly.

6. summer night bonfires with friends and neverrr without tons of laughs

7. having those perfect songs that accompany the mood you are in or want to be in

8. i dont think i can leave out my kitten.........DIIIDDDDDYYY!

9. summer mornings waking up to the sun shining & a light breeze blowing through your window that's been open all night.

10. last but neverrr the least.....my friends....i refuse to believe anyone has better ones than i do =)

i am lucky enough to have some of my closest friends living and working with me in columbus.

my good friend emily makes me terribly happy. recently, not quite sure what i would have done without her. i would like to believe the feeling is mutal...

1. Spring time mornings
2. Leaving campus during the day time.. makes me happy. Having bloody marys on a week day at noon make me TERRIBLY happy.
3. Bon Fires on cold-er summer nights
4. Wine + Friends. Mixed
5. summer time-being out all day . not having showered in days except for chlorine or salt water . feet up in the car. listening to loud music..

6. real snow. oh in the swiss alps. EVERYTHING is white.
7. cash, money, clothes
8. weekends
9. drolling over sexy eye candy with a single mate . that is fun.
10. Not sure from experience but i can imagine the DRAAK blood in any sitution would prob make me pretttttty happy.

welcome march.

february 2010 was the worse february in 100 years.

that being said, i couldn't be happier that it is finally march.

i thought i would celebrate by sharing 10 things that make me terribly happy.

1. cup of coffee, driving to work with the music on as loud as it can possibly be.

2. lots an lots of candles.

3. summer evenings with the air off and all my windows open listening to the city.

4. long drives with my bestfriend kayla.

5. the house made ranch at the cafe with baby carrots.

6. sharing a pillow with my kitten zoey.

7. a good shower soundtrack.

8. watching the world go by on a beautiful night.

9. the first hints of spring in the air.

10. the moment you realize the leaves are back on the trees.
